Invoice due-date rules
4 min read
Rather than typing a due date on every invoice, you can express your terms as a rule and let the dates follow the event.
Relative dates
Terms like "deposit due at signing, balance due fourteen days before the event" become real dates as soon as the event date is set — and move with it if the date changes.
Why it matters
Most late payments are late because nobody was told when they were due. Rules make the schedule explicit at contract time.
